What Are The Healthy Weight Loss Supplements?
If you have read some of my other writings on the subject of weight loss I think you will know that I am not a big proponent of weight-loss through supplements. However, if for whatever reasons you want or you need to use supplements to lose weight, what would be the most healthy weight-loss supplements to use?
There are so many weight-loss products on the market today that you could probably spend a year or two just wading through all of them.
Since the weight-loss market is such a lucrative one, you almost have everyone and his dog putting out some kind of supplement that promises you will have wonderful results that sometimes even defy common sense.
The two main categories of weight-loss supplements that you get on the market today are those supplements that are chemical-based and those that are herbal-based.
It probably goes without saying that the herbal-based supplements would be better for your body in general then chemical-based supplements.
This is not to say that chemical-based supplements are necessarily bad for your body, it is just to say that herbal-based supplements are manufactured from natural substances. These substances are generally more in natural harmony with your body.
There is generally this main differentiator between chemical-based and herbal-based products. Chemical-based products generally provide faster results that are not necessarily long-lasting. On the other hand, the herbal-based products tend to work slower but also at the same time provide more longer-lasting results.
None of these two supplement based solutions give you the same durability of results as plain good old-fashioned exercise and diet adjustment.
If you feel that you absolutely must use supplements for your weight control then my advice is to try the herbal based supplements first. Potential harm that these products can do to your body are often far less than their chemical-based counterparts.
People often leave their weight-loss effort to the last minute and therefore want something that can perform a miracle. Under no circumstances is it healthy for your body to experience an enormous fat mass loss in a very short period of time.
Your body has been designed to gradually burn away fat. Trying to short circuit your body’s natural process can cause it a lot of harm.
Best Weight Loss Supplement I have Ever Used
I am not one to write about an experience I had with a Weight Loss Supplement, but I figured this is one of those products I must share with people. I got this FREE Trial from www.ClenseMyBody.com for a Natural Organic Weight Loss Supplement. I am not big into taking supplements of any sort because I feel they are all crap; however, I was referred by a guy in the gym of this product and well…it was Free, so I said why not. Well I went to the website and got my Free Trial I just had to pay the $5.95 shipping..No Biggie. Got the trial in the mail about a week later. I looked over the ingredients and I liked what I saw all natural products and for the most part I had heard of most of the ingredients so that was a Plus.
I took the recommended dose and within about 2-Hours I felt like I had to make a massive BM. The funny part is this did not stop with just one, I went to the bathroom about 5 times in 2-Hours and I must say it was a little weird; however, someone not foreign to colonics and enemas it was great not needing anything in me to flush this waste out of me.
To make a long story short after about 3-Days being on the pills it regulated my BM’s and also I was shedding access water weight; as well as, toxins. Due to my high volume of protein I take, I usually have a constipation, but this fixed that. So in summary I apologize for rambling, but as I said I felt I needed to share it with the world. I ended up dropping about 14 lbs in the first week and it helped my sleeping, emotions and overall look.
So here is the information for anyone who wants to give it a try. Hopefully they are still doing the Free Trial for everyone. The website is www.ClenseMyBody.com
Good Luck and God Bless!
The Importance Of Mindset In Achieving Your Weight Loss Goals
In our intensely busy society, the rate of obesity is soaring; and it seems that everybody is struggling with weight loss. If you look around you, you will notice that there are numerous diets, weight loss plans, and specialized foods that are all designed to help the overweight person achieve the weight loss goals that he/she has set. However, even with all of these magic pills and potions people still fail to meet their weight loss goals. So it would seem that perhaps there is more to weight loss than just diet and exercise. Some successful people have discovered that the key to achieving desired weight loss may have more to do with how you think rather than what you eat.
One of the most important things that will impact your success when you are struggling to lose weight is your mindset. Have you ever noticed that some people seem to have an easier time losing weight while with others, shedding the excess pounds is a constant battle that results in their giving up? The difference between these two sets of people is in how they view their weight loss goals and plans. Not having the proper mindset can result in failure.
You will discover that having a positive mindset when trying to lose weight will be one of the key factors in actually achieving your weight loss goals. It has been shown that those who actually believe they are destined for success and have a positive attitude about losing weight will actually fare better in achieving their goals than those people who think negatively about weight loss. For example, if you believe that eating properly and exercising is a chore, then you will have a difficult time losing weight. However, if you look upon eating nutritiously and exercising positively, you will discover that losing weight is much easier.
It has been proven that the way we think and feel is directly correlated to how we act and respond. For this reason, it is extremely important to think positively about losing weight in order to experience any type of success. Having a positive attitude in regards to your weight loss goals will allow you to actually enjoy the challenge and will also help your goals seem attainable. In contrast, having a negative mindset will make you feel discouraged and may also make the goals you have set seem impossible.
If you are planning on attempting to lose weight, then it is critical that you prepare yourself mentally first. For every negative thought that tries to enter your mind, turn it into something positive. You must find ways to think of your weight loss positively. If you find the foods and activities you have chosen are making you dread losing weight, then change them. Find other foods and activities conducive to weight losses that are palatable to you. Then main thing to remember when you are trying to lose weight is to make sure that you maintain a positive outlook in achieving your weight loss goals.
My weight loss supplement experience
This has truly been a life changing experience and I have so many things to say that it is hard to know where to start. It is typical to be skeptical of any product, especially a weight loss product. The phrase “life changing” is thrown around so much and I thought that this would be another one of those times, but I quickly learned differently.
I have had the opportunity to amaze several medical professionals and that started right from the very beginning. I had gone to several doctors trying to get my cholesterol under control and I had conceded to the fact that I would be taking medication to lower it for the rest of my life. Around the same time that I was introduced to Slim, my doctor had given me a prescription for 80 mg of Zocor, which is a high dosage. That alone tells you that my problem was bad. That prescription is now framed and will never be filled. When I went back for my follow up, my cholesterol was lowered to the point where he took me off cholesterol medication altogether.
It is probably somewhat due to the weight that I have lost while using Slim, but my back problems are also now lessened. My chiropractor has spread my appointments from once a week to 4 times a year. With more time, that should get less and less also.
So many things are different for me now. For one, my energy level is so much higher. Before I started taking Slim, I was pretty much a couch potato. Now, I play tennis twice a week. On the other days, when time allows, I either walk or jog a couple miles or do some light work with the weights.
My confidence level has soared too. I used to avoid mirrors because I was ashamed of all the weight that I had gained. Now, it is fun to see how much weight that I have already lost and to image how I will look once I finally lose all of the weight that I want to lose. Even at work, I am more confident and it shows in how I carry myself and how I interact with people.
For the longest time, I have dreaded going back to my home town. People back there remember me as a 140 pound high school athlete, not the 265 pound couch potato that I had become. It was always embarrassing meeting someone that I had not seen for years and to have to deal with their reaction from seeing all of the weight that I had gained. I have not gone to the annual homecoming at my old church for almost 20 years, my weight being one of the reasons. This year, I am looking forward to going and plan to be there for the first time in a long time.
Also, when I was first introduced to Slim, I went to several gyms to see if I could talk to the patrons there about using the product. For the most part, I was always laughed out of the place. Looking back, I guess I can see why, at the weight that I was at no one took me seriously. Everyone knows the story of the 98 pound weakling who got pushed around until he got sick and tired and then went and bulked up and came back as a new and improved person. I feel like that kid in reverse. I can’t wait to walk into some of those same gyms now and see the look on some of those people’s faces.
Last, but maybe most importantly, I have learned that Slim is not just a diet product, but a life style change. Life does not stop when you decide to try and lose weight. You still have to worry with the every day stresses of life and the temptations that exist. Two of my three surviving brothers were already unable to work because of health issues. The fourth brother had succumb to a heart attack at an early age. During my 180 day period the third of the three surviving brothers had to have open heart surgery. He survived, but is now also unable to work. A close cousin also died of heart problems during this period.
It says a lot that knowing what I am potentially facing I believe that using Slim and keeping up the lifestyle changes that I have made will help me to avoid the same fate. Also, during those weak moments when I allowed myself what I believed to be a well deserved indulgence, Slim helped to neutralize the foods that I had eaten and helped to keep the weight from coming back.

Five Steps to Achieving Your Weight Loss Goals
Making the decision to lose weight is extremely personal and should be yours alone. No one can make you lose weight. Often external pressures can make matters worse and can sabotage your weight loss goals.
Of course, this does not mean you are in this alone, it just means that before you undertake this task, you should have a definite outline and follow these five steps for a successful diet and weight loss program.
Step 1: Get In The Mind Set For Weight Loss.
Timing is everything when it comes to starting your weight loss program. Take immediate stock of your life. What challenges are you facing right now? Too much stress – whether it be work related or personal relationships can get in the way of successful weight loss goals. It may be a good idea to clear something things up and create a good healthy balance in your life. It take a lot of will power to change old habits, so make sure you have clear focus with your matters at hand.
Step 2: Set Realistic Weight Loss Goals.
Successful weight loss takes time. Try to set small, achievable process goals. Climb the mountain slowly. Perhaps the first week you will resolve to eat a healthier diet by cutting back on your fat and sugar intake, nothing to hard for you to accomplish. Then make a plan to set aside 20 minutes per day, 4 times in the week to do some type of exercise. Do not set outcome goals for yourself. (i.e. I will lose 50 pounds in 3 months.) An outcome goal for proper weight loss is a sure fire way to set yourself up for massive failure. Speak to your closest family and friends about your weight loss goals, most likely they will be happy for you and will be happy to lend support and encouragement.
Once you have your short term goals set, rate yourself on your confidence level for sticking to them, use a scale of 1 -10, with 10 being the most confident. If you fall below the confidence of 7 then try and reset your goals to something more realistic. Ask yourself what makes you eat? Everyone has certain food triggers. Be honest with yourself. List your personal food triggers and try to stay away from them. Some examples of food triggers might be: habit snacking between meals, stress eating, mood eating, etc… Remember, you are making important lifestyle changes for long term weight loss. Your goals are just the first steps in the right direction.
Step 3: Envision Your Weight Loss Success.
Your state of mind and personal image of yourself is everything when it comes to successful long term weight loss. Envision yourself doing healthy, vibrant things like running a 5k race, skiing down a challenging slope, think of yourself in great form fitting clothes, picture your body toned with muscles flexed looking fabulous! This step of achieving your weight loss goals is extremely important. Having a strong mental image goal is something to strive towards and will keep your mindset focused on weight loss and your will power intact.
Step 4: Choosing The Right Weight Loss Diet Plan.
If all the other steps seemed easy to follow then this step might be the most challenging and confusing. The market and media is literally flooded with all types of weight loss and diet books, philosophies and programs. The most important thing to remember is to do your research and choose the weight loss program that is most balanced nutritionally and will fit in most easily with your lifestyle habits. A diet plan that is too hard to follow or that falls into the “Fad Diet” category will shatter your weight loss goals. Until you have mastered the art of correct diet protocol and exercise it is easier to start with a Balanced Nutritional Diet Plan. Often all the thought and hard work at creating meals is done for you. It would be a great idea to look into any of these Diet Plans, they are top in their field and have record results with a majority of people. Chef’s Diet and Diet To Go.
Step 5: Accepting Minor Setbacks.
Anyone who has successfully changed their lives will tell you that life does have setbacks. If you experience any setback, do not give up! Most forward, start fresh! Healthy Weight Loss is a slow, steady and long term process. Now that you have resolved to lose weight, set your Realistic Weight Loss Goals, choose your Diet Plan and ask for the encouragement of family and friends. You are on the high road to your successful weight loss goals!
Weight Loss Products Reviews – Natural Weight Loss Products Safer or Not?
Do you know that natural weight loss products is not always safer and healthier for your body? There are natural ingredients, particularly those that are put in weight loss supplements that can cause possible other problems detrimental to your health.
Most natural weight loss products also have only a minimal amount of substances in them that can actually effect weight loss. In that case, the chances of these natural weight loss products benefiting your weight loss program will be quite negligible.
It does not mean that many natural weight loss products are not good. You just need to be aware that many of them are being heavily promoted as with any other weight loss products and dietary supplements because of the huge income it brings in.
Many of these natural weight loss products only act as diuretics which in turn resulted in temporary loss of water giving people the false impression that they are losing weight fast.
In fact, you will actually have a lot more chance of losing weight by increasing the quantity of water you drink and remaining hydrated all the time.
The best natural weight loss products are healthy foods that you should be eating everyday, such as, fresh fruits and vegetables. You will be assured that you have all the necessary vitamins and minerals that your body needs to be healthy and in order to function properly.
If you have any serious health concerns like high blood pressure or heart problems, you will need professional advice before you take any natural weight loss products. Some natural ingredients in weight loss products are found to increase blood pressure and if you already have high blood pressure then the results could be really fatal.
Be really careful before thinking of taking any natural weight loss products. It is safer to seek your doctor’s approval first. If you want more information on the best weight loss programs online, just go here: Best Weight Loss Reviews
What Method is Best for Weight Loss?
Weight loss is a huge business now-days and there are so many different methods that promises results, that it is very hard to navigate in this jungle. With all of the diet tricks out there, it is difficult to determine which weight loss methods are legitimate. Also most of these methods are costly and often give different results from individual to individual, this makes it even more difficult to find one that works for you.
My recommendation if you are looking for permanent results is to go the natural way; fat diets, unbalanced diets, diet pills, diet supplements, weight loss surgery and other short term weight loss methods are not recommended for permanent weight control. Sudden weight loss methods are also dangerous to the body. But today more people are realizing that natural weight loss methods are the only way to achieve healthy, lasting results. Natural weight loss methods are proven to be the safest.
A natural method is, when your body burns more fat that it consumes. What you put in your mouth is of course very important also. There are many diets available, for example herbal weight loss methods are proving to be effective the world over, and have attracted wide-spread media attention as a result. Other effective weight loss method is the good old exercise. Exercise is a natural as well as permanent solution for weight loss.
There are clinics and doctor’s specialized on weight manage. A patient’s situation is carefully studied and after that the plan is to manage body weight depending on the patient’s risk factors in health, and the rate and effect of these factors. These methods are costly, but you will feel that you are in safe hands.
Not long ago a medical clinic run a test on people who had earlier participated in a weight loss program;
First all participants received two dietary questionnaires to complete at home. When looking at the results, it should be noted that for role functioning, emotional and mental health there was no difference in the scores between those perceiving themselves as just right and too fat. For men a similarly direct relationship was observed between weight loss history and quality of life, but differences between weight loss categories were significant only for physical functioning, bodily pain, general health and vitality. For women all quality of life dimensions (with the exception of vitality, mental health and role-functioning emotional) differed between body mass indexes after adjustment, with the overweight having lower mean scores. Perceived weight was associated with general health and vitality, independent of obesity in men. Those women with a stronger history of weight loss had significantly lower scores for physical function, mental health, bodily pain, role functioning, emotional, social function and vitality. Longitudinal analysis showed that women with weight increase of greater than 10% had significant lower quality of life scores in terms of physical health, general health and vitality.
This shows us that excess fat in our bodies makes us vulnerable for depression and mental problems, also our vitality levels go down, which means a lower life quality. These results also reflect findings in psycho-social literature and speculation on the part of many clinical and public health practitioners that the impact of obesity on well-being more often depend on subjective assessment by an individual of their weight rather than realistic appraisal relative to healthy standards.
In a society with such a high prevalence of overweight and obesity, quick fix weight loss methods are in high demand. This is also where the business starts, and I’m sorry to say there are many out there that are more interested in their own earnings than patients well being. Therefore go only after diets and methods which are medically tested and approved.
Weight Loss – are You Fighting With yourself to Lose Weight?
Have you tried to lose weight in the past but failed? You may have been fighting yourself to do it. I’ll explain.
There are two main parts to our mind: the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious part of you wants to lose weight and look good this upcoming season. Meanwhile, the subconscious wants you to continue to eat all the foods that make you feel comfortable and happy. Unfortunately for you, those tend to be composed of sugar and carbohydrates which only make your waist line grow. In a scenario like this one, the person ends up yo-yo-dieting because their “Will Power” can only last so long – literally. Will Power only gives you a short burst of energy. Once it’s gone. It’s just gone. The only thing left behind is your emotional stress and frustration which can lead to a vicious cycle of weight rebounding.
That is the reason why the problem of losing weight needs to be tackled at the source of where the mental conflict is – in your subconscious. The subconscious is where all your habits and patterns lie such as not eating healthy, not liking to exercise and drinking only soda. Once you get this part of your mind in sink with your goals, change becomes easy because you’re no longer fighting with yourself.
Hypnosis Has Been Scientifically Proven To Work For Weight Loss.
Setting your mind to lose weight and motivating yourself to enjoy healthy habits is possible with Hypnosis. A significant number of studies (several of which are listed below), have demonstrated that adding hypnosis to a weight loss program significantly increases its success.
A 1996 study conducted at the University of Connecticut published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology found that, on average, people who used Hypnosis were able to lose 2.5 times more weight than a person not using Hypnosis. The authors went a step further by stating, “The correlation analysis indicated that the benefits of Hypnosis increased substantially over time.”
As someone who previously battled with keeping extra pounds off, I know that you need to have the correct frame of mind in order to be successful. You may have experienced occasions when you’ve dieted and exercised but then your will power wore off. In the end, you slipped back to your old patterns and rebounded in weight. This continuous vicious cycle affects you not just physically but emotionally because as your self-esteem spirals downwards you start to overeat; you start eating calorie laden comfort foods again and you get stuck in the same pattern.
This scenario happens to countless of Americans who fuel the diet industry with their purchases of diet pills and other fads in hope of achieving their weight loss goals. The problem, however, is that the more you rebound, the more you set yourself up for failure for the next time you try to diet.
In reality, the perfect equation for most people to lose weight is simple. It’s:
Weight Loss = The Right Mind Set + Healthy Eating + Exercise
That’s it. In life as in science, the simplest answer is often the correct answer.
Hypnosis can help you achieve the right state of mind by “cleaning up the mental clutter” that prevents you from holding a determined course to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. It gives you the ability to naturally chose to eat healthy foods, to want to exercise and to be focused on achieving your weight loss goals. For some, it’s as simple as one session, while others see benefit from a series of sessions.
In a research article titled, Hypnotherapy in weight loss treatment, a group of researchers found that in a test group of 60 participants, those that did not use Hypnosis only lost .5 lbs while the group using Hypnosis lost 17lbs. Why? Because the people who had access to Hypnosis sessions were able to achieve that weight loss combination that eludes most people today.
More proof of the ability of Hypnosis to boost a person’s weight loss was shown in January of 2004, when Dateline aired “Losing it: Dateline ultimate diet challenge.” The show compared some of the most well known methods known to losing weight including the Atkin’s diet, Slim Fast, Weight Watchers, extreme exercise with calorie restrictions, working with a diet coach and Hypnosis.
The top two weight loss techniques that worked were Hypnosis and the Atkins diet. Unfortunately for the man who used the Atkin’s diet (Rick Burns), while he lost weight, he also became sick. “Rick developed a painful case of gout, a condition he’d had before, that he suspected was a result of the diet.” His diet had to be modified.
Marc Merlis, the man who did Hypnosis along with exercising and eating healthy continued to happily lose weight.
“After three months under Hypnosis, his wife had a nickname for him. Incredibly, “droopy drawers” had lost the most so far, a staggering 40 pounds. That’s when droopy’s wife got in on the action. She went to the hypnotist to quit smoking. And guess what? Smoke free, fat free. Five months in, for the Merlis’s things couldn’t be better. And at their son’s bar mitzvah this May, lifting Marc was a piece of cake.”
As long as Marc continued his Hypnosis routine, he was able to continue his path of losing weight. One of the things that I noticed about this weight loss challenge was how much the other contestants suffered by the calorie restrictions that they had to undergo. It’s hard to focus if you feel that you are starving. Hypnosis helps program your mind to think thin – this includes wanting to exercise and wanting to eat healthy so you’re not constantly struggling about what choices you have to make. An added plus to Hypnosis is that it helps you control your stress levels. This in turn helps you to lose weight.
Even highly respected consumer advocate John Stossel of ABC’s 20/20, who is known for debunking fraudulent claims, agrees that Hypnosis is no sham. In his best-selling book, “Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidty”, he makes a bold take on Hypnosis:
“Just when my skeptic’s antennae convince me I always know bunk when I see it, I get fooled. I assumed hypnosis in medicine was one more con game… “Hypnotherapy will help you lose weight!” C’mon, if it worked, there wouldn’t be all those overweight people around. Truth: Hypnosis works — if you let it!”
Smokers can also reap the benefits of Hypnosis for weight loss. A two-fold study stated that both nonsmokers and smokers alike experienced significant weight loss as well as decline in their Body Mass Index compared to the group who did not practice Hypnosis. In fact, the group who used Hypnosis continued to show lower post treatment weights. Non-invasive and relaxing, Hypnosis makes achieving your goals easy.
Hypnosis simply allows you to have better motivation and self control as well as a positive emotional association with your diet and exercise. You don’t just lose weight, you gain control of your own life, so that you can go out there and achieve all the other things that are on your list of goals.

Successful Weight Loss Stories
Do you struggle with your weight? If you do, you’re not alone! We see this happening more and more all over the world. There is no doubt that losing weight is going to make you feel better. We all know it is question of health also. For many people successful weight loss is a huge boost in life. People feel more energetic, creative and self confidence is higher. Here is a recent comment from a student who managed to lose 10 pounds:
“This weight loss challenge has been a big contributor in improving my mental, emotional and physical condition. I have double the energy I used to and my life has completely changed. My own transformation has inspired me to research and create a lecture that challenges and educates young people and adults concerning the benefits of proper nutrition and exercise. I feel it’s very important to share this knowledge so that others can benefit from it also”.
And here is another one:
“To say the last three months have been easy would be a joke. I’ve realized that to accomplish any significant goal in life it takes extreme discipline, willpower, and determination. On those days I didn’t feel like exercising, I felt guilty and my self confidence was down. But now I can say I’m an example of someone who has not only started and completed a weight loss challenge, but also adopted a new life style”.
Carrying overweight in our bodies can make us feel guilty, tired and we can lose interest in life. It will restrict us in many areas and stop our development if gets very bad. We need energy in life for everything we do. Our brain doesn’t function properly if we are tired all the time. This is why I think it is very important to hear success stories which can inspire and motivate people towards better and healthier life.
Many teens struggle with their weight and hearing a successful weight loss story may help motivate others to do the same. Body image is a very big thing for teens. So big actually that it can be a cause of total lack of self confidence and even suicide in some cases. On the other end it can turn to anorexia and many teens struggle with this. There is a lot of pressure to look a certain way and a lot of this is fed by the all popular media – TV, Internet and magazines. All the ads tell us we need to look a certain way in order to be accepted, this is the modern money machine corrupting the society, but everybody seem to accept it because money is god in the material world.
Here are my thoughts on what you need to do to be successful:
Based on the philosophy that successful weight loss is achieved through the attainment of a series of realistic goals, we will need a program that is a multi-dimensional, comprehensive way to learn how to achieve and then maintain a healthy body weight for the long-term. One important component is keeping a daily food diary. Essential to successful weight loss is maintaining a healthy diet in the long term, combined with regular exercise. Even hypnosis can help, but is only to be used if nothing other works. Using hypnosis you will develop a new self image, you will learn to be relaxed about weight loss so that the program will not be a struggle but rather a natural part of your life. You will also develop a new and healthy attitude to weight loss and a positive attitude to achieving your goals. You will overcome any subconscious habits that may be stopping your development. All the above is good, because we know that successful weight loss is as much about changing subconscious habits as it is about diet and exercise.
When it comes to losing weight, fat intake is not the main problem—the main factor is reducing carbohydrates. The newest research has discovered that the key is not begin with the low-fat diet but rather a high-protein, low-carbohydrate plan.
Attitude is very important and I believe the key to successful weight loss is changing behavior, eating a well balanced diet, increasing physical activity, reducing stress and laughing as much as possible.
The main thing you need for successful weight loss is a model that includes good fitness and nutrition fundamentals. What is most important and what ultimately leads to permanent, successful weight loss is your own will and desire to change.
