My weight loss supplement experience

This has truly been a life changing experience and I have so many things to say that it is hard to know where to start. It is typical to be skeptical of any product, especially a weight loss product.  The phrase “life changing” is thrown around so much and I thought that this would be another one of those times, but I quickly learned differently.

I have had the opportunity to amaze several medical professionals and that started right from the very beginning.  I had gone to several doctors trying to get my cholesterol under control and I had conceded to the fact that I would be taking medication to lower it for the rest of my life.  Around the same time that I was introduced to Slim, my doctor had given me a prescription for 80 mg of Zocor, which is a high dosage. That alone tells you that my problem was bad.  That prescription is now framed and will never be filled.  When I went back for my follow up, my cholesterol was lowered to the point where he took me off cholesterol medication altogether.

It is probably somewhat due to the weight that I have lost while using Slim, but my back problems are also now lessened. My chiropractor has spread my appointments from once a week to 4 times a year.  With more time, that should get less and less also.

So many things are different for me now. For one, my energy level is so much higher.  Before I started taking Slim, I was pretty much a couch potato.   Now, I play tennis twice a week.  On the other days, when time allows, I either walk or jog a couple miles or do some light work with the weights.

My confidence level has soared too. I used to avoid mirrors because I was ashamed of all the weight that I had gained. Now, it is fun to see how much weight that I have already lost and to image how I will look once I finally lose all of the weight that I want to lose.  Even at work, I am more confident  and it shows in how I carry myself and how I interact with people.

For the longest time, I have dreaded going back to my home town.  People back there remember me as a 140 pound high school athlete, not the 265 pound couch potato that I had become.  It was always embarrassing meeting someone that I had not seen for years and to have to deal with their reaction from seeing all of the weight that I had gained.  I have not gone to the annual homecoming at my old church for almost 20 years, my weight being one of the reasons.  This year, I am looking forward to going and plan to be there for the first time in a long time.

Also, when I was first introduced to Slim, I went to several gyms to see if I could talk to the patrons there about using the product.  For the most part, I was always laughed out of the place.  Looking back, I guess I can see why, at the weight that I was at no one took me seriously.  Everyone knows the story of the 98 pound weakling who got pushed around until he got sick and tired and then went and bulked up and came back as a new and improved person.  I feel like that kid in reverse. I can’t wait to walk into some of those same gyms now and see the look on some of those people’s faces.

Last, but maybe most importantly, I have learned that Slim is not just a diet product, but a life style change.  Life does not stop when you decide to try and lose weight.  You still have to worry with the every day stresses of life and the temptations that exist.  Two of my three surviving brothers were already unable to work because of health issues. The fourth brother had succumb to a heart attack at an early age.  During my 180 day period the third of the three surviving brothers had to have open heart surgery.  He survived, but is now also unable to work.  A close cousin also died of heart problems during this period.

It says a lot that knowing what I am potentially facing I believe that using Slim and keeping up the lifestyle changes that I have made will help me to avoid the same fate.  Also, during those weak moments when I allowed myself what I believed to be a well deserved indulgence, Slim helped to neutralize the foods that I had eaten and helped to keep the weight from coming back.

Successful Weight Loss Stories
